Norwood Recreation provides several youth sports programs and manages field time for others.

Baseball

Norwood Knothole is operated by a parent's organization that provides a tee ball and baseball program for children ages 4 to 18 years of age. Registration is held at the recreation building in January. Their season begins in March and runs through June.

Soccer

Norwood Soccer is operated by a parents organization that provides soccer programs for children ages 3 years to 14 years old. They also offer co-ed teams for High Schoolers. They hold registration for Fall Soccer leagues in May at the recreation building and registration for Spring Soccer in January. Fall leagues operate from July through October and spring season operates March though June.

This year there will be an Adult League (18+) 9v9. If interested, call Ron (376-6408).

This program is operated by Norwood Recreation. The 5 years through 2nd grade are divided onto teams according to the elementary school they attend and they compete against each other. The 3rd graders and older players are placed on a team then each team is placed into a traveling league within a Southwest basketball league.

Registration: At the Norwood Recreation Office 2011 registration is October 3 & 12 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Season: Practices start in November with games beginning in December
Age groups: 5 years to 18 years of age.
Cost: $60.00.

Norwood Little Indians Football

Little Indians Football is a tackle football league made up of Children who live in the City of Norwood and are in grades K thru 6th. Participants MUST reside within the City of Norwood. Little Indians Football participates in the Ohio Valley Youth Football League. This league is made up of teams such as: Oak Hills, Little Miami, Northwest, Edgewood, Three Rivers, Ross, Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield and Talawanda. Registration after April 1st, 2011 is $ 85.00
Pracitces start the last week of July. Practices are usually on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
Games are played on Saturdays. Games times are varied.
Teams are seperated by grades: K-1, 2nd,3rd,4th, 5th and 6th.
